Mechanical
The 1.5L turbo engine has four cylinders with 175 horsepower and a stop/start feature. The GMC Terrain is an electronically-controlled nine-speed automatic. The braking system includes a four-wheel antilock braking feature and an electronic parking brake. There’s a single-outlet, stainless steel exhaust pipe.
Fuel Economy
Mileage may vary due to individual driving conditions. The fuel consumption is estimated at 9L per 100km for city driving and 8L per 100km on the highway.
Exterior
The GMC Terrain has an eye-catching exterior with silver aluminum wheels, black trim and a roof-mounted luggage rack. The C-shaped LED headlamps include automatic control and delay features. The daytime running lamps and tail lamps are also LED. The rear windows are tinted, and the windshield is laminated. The heated mirrors are power-adjustable.

Safety

The Passenger Sensing System can detect the presence of a front passenger.
There’s also a rear seat reminder for backseat passengers. The rear vision camera is integrated into the audio system display, informing you of potential front collisions with its alert system.
