OnStar’s Most Popular Features Are Now Standard in All 2025 GM Vehicles to Help Keep More Canadians Safe on the Road

Oshawa Ont. (February 2, 2024) – Canadians will have more peace of mind every time they get into their GM vehicle now that OnStar is making some of its most sought-after technology standard. Starting with the 2025 model year, most Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac retail and fleet vehicles will have Automatic Crash Response, remote vehicle commands, and navigation and voice assistance standard.

The OnStar One Standard package brings together features in one simple bundle and will be included for up to eight years with every new vehicle purchase at no additional cost above retail price.

“By standardizing some of our most appealing OnStar features, we can deliver more technology and value at every price point, helping ensure our vehicles and customers stay connected for the long term,” said Marissa West, president, GM North America. “With this move, every new vehicle in our lineup will include a compelling set of safety and connected services that is distinct to GM thanks to nearly 30 years of OnStar experience and innovation.”
